Delicious freshly made chips and a great selection of fish, all battered to order. There are plenty of other tasty options for those who prefer something different from fish. The owners are warm and welcoming, and the convenient parking right outside is a big plus. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this chip shop, I've been using the Codfather for years, best chippy around, lovely, welcoming friendly staff that go above & beyond, & not just for the excellent food, I always look forward to a good chat & a laugh with Raan & her Daughter. The food is excellent, so good we could have ate the paper if we wasn't so full after the good sized portions they serve If you're after top notch food & fantastic customer service get down to the Codfather I guarantee you won't be disappointed & will be going back again & again.

After working in the area for sometime I struggled to find a good fish and chip shop but now I come here once a week without fail. Staff are friendly and service is quick regardless of whether the queue is out the door or you’re the only customer in and the quality of food is far better than the various fast food options on the nearby retail parks

Visited for the first time at lunchtime today. My large cod was battered and cooked to order and chips were fresh out too. best piece of cod I've had in years, chunky, flakey and cooked to perfection.! Lovely friendly owners. I will be back!!

Been here two times now perfect service mother and daughter very welcoming had a very nice conversation as just moved to the area very helpful thank you. Food is really nice one of the best I've had I've found my new chippy can't fault anythink thank you.

Wonderful freshly made chips. Wide choice of fish freshly battered once ordered as well as lots of other food options if a customer chooses something other than fish. Lovely friendly owners and the added bonus of parking spaces outside. Recommended!
